Communications audit

This task is the necessary starting point if you intend to work systematically with the public. It will help you to define clearly any underutilized resources and opportunities you have in the areas of external and internal communications. Conducting a comprehensive audit will provide you with reliable data on the effectiveness of your communications with key target groups. I recommend this be done both at the start of our cooperation and after a certain period (ideally one year), so that it is possible to evaluate whether those tools selected are the proper ones and the objectives are being fulfilled. How can I help?

  • In consultation with the competent persons on your team, I will go step by step through all the types of communication your company uses (e.g. PR strategy, media relations, presentation materials, website, intranet, internal magazines, conferences, client events, and crisis situations).
  • I will determine which parts work, how often they are used, who reports what to whom, how the processes have been set up, and so forth.
  • I will thus obtain an overview of the flow of information in your company and of the effectiveness of the communications tools and channels used.
  • I will propose solutions which will increase the effectiveness of the given communication (e.g. a system for monitoring, reporting, education and training in the communications area).
